Lane Carr Named CAC Men's Golfer of the Week for a Fourth Time

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – For the third straight week and fourth time overall, Spartanburg Methodist College freshman Lane Carr has earned Continental Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week honors.

The Medina, Tennessee, native tied for 11th place at the Trailblazer Spring Invite, hosted by North Greenville University at the Cherokee Valley Course & Club in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

Carr posted two rounds in the 70s, finishing with a 176 composite score. He recorded a birdie in each round and closed out the tournament with a five-over-par 77 to lead the Pioneers in the invitational.
