Najah Gilliam Named CAC Offensive Player of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Spartanburg Methodist College junior guard Najah Gilliam was named the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Gilliam nearly had a triple-double performance in the Pioneers’ 72-71 win over Johnson & Wales University (North Carolina) last Wednesday. She scored 20 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had eight assists in the one-point triumph. The guard made eight of her 16 field goals and all three of her free throw attempts in the contest.
