#20 Lady Pioneers roll, win eleventh in a row

SPARTANBURG, SC- Spartanburg Methodist College Lady Pioneers improved to 14-1 on Monday afternoon with a 5-1 win over Belmont Abbey Reserves.  Tori Brown (Boiling Springs, SC) scored on a volley from twenty yards away at the 41^st minute to give SMC a 1-0 half time lead.  Sara Dorsett (Travelers Rest, SC) added two goals (47^th  and 76^th  minutes) and also added an assist in the second half. 

Rounding out the scoring for the in the second half for the Pioneers were Khalila Hargrave (Anderson, SC) 85^th  minute and Marcella Damas (Brazil)in the 89^th minute.  The assists in the game were by Lexi Garcia (Greenville, SC) with 2 assist, Kala McMillian (Spartanburg, SC) and Marcella Damas both had one assist.  

SMC will look to push their winning streak to eleven games on Wednesday afternoon as they host USC Lancaster at 3:00pm.
