Lady Pioneer Soccer to play for Region X Title

LOUISBURG, NC-The Lady Pioneer Soccer team won 7-0 easily on Saturdayafternoon against USC Salkehatchie in the semi finals of the Region X Tournament. 

Kacee Merritt (Cayce,SC) had 3 goals. Kayla Walker (Lexington,SC) had two goals. Kayla McMillian (Spartanburg, SC) and Madison Salters (Columbia, SC) both added a goal. Assists were from Ciera Smith (Columbia, SC) (2). One each by Kayla McMillian, Madison Salters, Lexi Garcia (Greenville, SC) and Sara Dorsett ( Travelers Rest, SC). 

SMC (17-1) will face Cape Fear Community College (14-3-1) at 2:00pm for the Region X Championship. SMC and Cape Fear split their matchups during the regular season with each team winning at their home field.
