Lady Pioneer Soccer storybook season ends
SPARTANBURG, SC- The Lady Pioneers suffered their first loss on their home field today to end the season in the District L Championship game 3-2 to Harford Community College.
The Lady Pioneers scored two goals in the first half one by Kacee Merritt assisted by Madison Salters at the 17 minute mark and at the 28th minute mark by an own goal by Harford CC. SMC took a 2-0 half time lead.
SMC was not able to survive a strong second half by the Owls giving up three goals in an eight minute span during the second half.
The Lady Pioneers final record ends at 18-2 and Region X Champions.
