Tutterow earns NSCAA First Team Academic All American honors

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America recognized select collegiate student-athletes as 2014 NSCAA Scholar All-Americans for their dual accomplishments on the field and in the classroom. Sophomore, Courtney Tutterow was named to the first team for her contributions in the classroom and on the field. Tutterow (Boiling Springs, SC) earned a 4.0 gpa and helped lead the Pioneers to a Region X Championship and a 18-2 overall record this season.

To be named to a Scholar All-America Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout his or her career; start more than 50 percent of all games and be a significant contributor to the team; and be nominated by an institution that is a current NSCAA College Services member.

These student-athletes will be recognized Saturday, Jan. 17 at the annual All-America Luncheon, held in conjunction with the 2015 NSCAA Convention in Philadelphia. Those selected as All-Americans, their coaches, and families can register online for the luncheon at NSCAA.com/awards/aaregistration.
