Bryan Bayonne Named CAC Defensive Player of the Week for Third Time

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - For the fourth time in five weeks, Spartanburg Methodist College men's basketball has secured the Continental Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors. For the third time on the season, Bryan Bayonne secures the weekly accolade as announced by conference officials on Monday. In last Friday's win over Bluefield, he had 17 points and 10 rebounds in the 106-73 victory. Bayonne and SMC will tip off CAC play on Wednesday when they will face Florida College on Thursday, January 9 in Temple Terrace, Fla.
