Tavarez Lacey and Bryan Bayonne Named to CAC All-Tournament Team

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Spartanburg Methodist College men's basketball team landed a pair of players - Bryan Bayonne and Tavarez Lacey - on the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Basketball All-Tournament Team. The No. 6 seeded Pioneers reached the championship game on the strength of the play of Bayonne and Lacey. Bayonne shot 48.9% from the field and averaged 23.0 ppg and 8.1 rebounds in the three games for the Pioneers. He had a double double in the championship game, scoring 20 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Lacey averaged 15.0 points and 9.2 rebounds in the three games. He started the tournament with a double double - 24 points and 16 rebounds in the win over Washington Adventist.
