Bryan Bayonne Named CAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Spartanburg Methodist College senior men's basketball guard Bryan Bayonne was named the Continental Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. He averaged nearly 30 points and eight rebounds last week for the Pioneers. The Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native had 29 points and 12 rebounds in a 104-94 victory against Fisher College (Massachusetts) last Friday – his fourth double-double performance of the season. The guard followed up that performance the next day by scoring 31 points, including 29 in the second half, in a 90-81 setback to Washington Adventist University (Maryland).
