
Bryan Bayonne Named Third Team NAIA All-American
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Spartanburg Methodist College guard Bryan Bayonne (Baton Rouge, Louisiana) became the first student-athlete in SMC history to earn All-American honors on Monday. Bayonne was named a Third-Team All-American by the NAIA for his efforts in the 2024-25 season. Earlier this year, he was named the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year.
Bayonne led the Pioneers in their first year in the NAIA, averaging 24.3 points per game—second in the nation. He made 71 three-point field goals and shot 46.3% from the field across 27 games. Bayonne also grabbed 6.4 rebounds per game and recorded 72 assists.
