
Kiara Snel Named Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Spartanburg Methodist College
Spartanburg, S.C. – Spartanburg Methodist College head women’s soccer coach Debbie Pekel has announced the hiring of Kiara Snel as the new Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach.
“I am thrilled that Kiara chose to join me here at SMC. She was a major asset at NCF, and I am confident she will bring that same impact to our program here. She will be invaluable for the program and players both now and in the future,” said Pekel.
Most recently, Snel was an assistant coach at the New College of Florida and at her alma mater Brewton-Parker College. Snel has also coached at the club level with DME Academy in Sarasota, Florida and Dallas Surf in Dallas, Texas.
Before entering the coaching ranks, she gained significant experience as a player on the intercollegiate and National levels. Snel spent her youth career playing in Curacao, playing at clubs C.V.V Willemstad and S.U.B.T, as well as representing the Curacao national team at the U-15, U-17, U-20, and Senior Levels.
